At one point, I realised I had overpromised something. When we announced that every student that year would get an internship, I daydreaming more than anything.

Little did I know that for some companies, even if there’s no money involved, there’s still a time and staff investment they might not be willing to take. And that was the bottom line.

After a lot of work and a lot of conversations, we did managed to get an experience for most students, but not all. Which was super frustrating for everyone. Mea culpa.

But as a side note, to this day it still is incredibly difficult to find companies running internships, which is a huge problem for all the very junior designers out there.
